Nothing special about us. There are creatures that, unaided, fly, swim, see, smell, hear, move, climb, live under water etc, much better than we can. Some even regenerate body parts and the turritopsis dohrnii live forever.
My coworkers found a stray yesterday and it stayed in the shop overnight, I was off yesterday and today but I got a call from my boss asking if I wanted it and since it was a kitten I decided to take it for the kids so I drove into work and picked it up, took it to the vet and got it some worm medicine, gave it a bath, fed and watered him and suprisingly he found the litter box right away and so this is our new addition to the family......
So send your kid to the 65 million school. Though I bet you're a lot less likely to face a shooter in the third day school.
I wish that I could block trolls.
In that case, you should have no problem proving it.
Thank you, that was and is my hero
Almost. It was translated into the Septuagint as "parthenos" and the error kept perpetuating itself through time and translation. Note that the virgin birth is recounted only at Matthew 1:18-25 and Luke 1:26-38. Why this invidious omission from Mark, the earliest Gospel, and John, the latest?
Ikr. Teenagers starting families and running estates. We grow up so much slower, or not at all.
She knows this, but ignores the legal issue. Everytime I point out that allowing a free pass based off religion overturns the law she ignores it. There was a Case before the SCOTUS right after the CRA was passed, challenging it on grounds it violated the owners religious belief. word for word is the same argument s the baker, challenging the same laws.
Evil is a social construct, actually.
"13.7 is not long enough"
It is very easy to refute free will.
Your psychiatrist has probably explained your need to overcome those transference issues.
Yes, really. I cannot be lost, because YOU are lost, and I disagree with you.
Actually, blood groups are not quite the same thing. Blood groups are genetically determined and certain groups are dominant (where one parent has one blood group and the other parent has a different blood group, the dominant one always wins). So far no gene has been found that controls handedness and therefore there is no known reason for righthandedness to dominate, but it does.
For some of the people who complain about their SO's behavior in that department I'm like "Dude. If a single person would deserved to be slapped for it, you need to hurry up and leave him/her single so they can get what's coming to em. Otherwise, bringing attention to it usually does more harm than good."
Because men still feel that they own us and need to speak up for us, and some women let them.
I would think that since it is "scripture" that talks about the "apocalypse," it would be scriptural definition that would be used as the definition to assess the topic under discussion. It would be the scriptural definition that would be "spot on" for the purpose of discussion. It's having happened or not is irrelevant.
don't you have a formation to line up in, gump?
>>"You have just proven a negative by making the claim that you can't prove a negative and thus have contradicted yourself"<<
What's with all the bigoted idiots coming out of the woodwork lately? Are the Brownshirts back in town?
You can't write a biography about somebody who never existed. The gospels are fiction. You can call them biographical fiction if you wish. I call them religious propaganda written by the Churchmen to filch wealth, power and young male children to themselves.
"Q", or "Quelle" is a German word that simply means "source", was first posited to explain why the Synoptic Gospels are so alike, but the modern consensus is that the reason they are so alike is that Matthew and Luke simply copied the gospel of Mark, and sometimes even used the exact wording. Mark was not from Palestine, and made a lot of mistakes in geography, Matthew corrected a lot of his mistakes, added some miracles, and the Luke corrected the mistakes that Matthew made and added of his own, added some more stuff. It is believed that Luke was from Antioch because he seems very familiar with that area, and gives good geographic details in Acts. It is unknown where Mark actually was when he wrote his gospel, with the exception that he was not in Jerusalem. It is also unknown where Matthew was when he wrote his gospel, once again, with the exception that it is known that he was not in Jerusalem.
I missed this. My bad.
